Instruments For Sale: Globular Horns

The following globular horns are for sale. Click on a picture to see a larger photo. Click on the "Hear it!" speaker icon for a sound sample. Most of these sound samples are in MP3 format, which can be played with free software such as the RealPlayer (player available here) or Quicktime (player available here). The sound files will give you a general idea of the instrument's pitch and sound, but unfortunately often don't convey the richness or subtleties of the instrument's tone. (Note: if you are using the small internal speaker in your computer, you may not hear the low fundamental tones of some of these globular horns.)

	Globular Horn #107 (sold) Large bore with bell. Fundamental pitch is F#. Burnt and speckled glaze finish. 9" tall. $300	Hear it!
	Globular Horn #102 (sold) Large bore with bell and goatskin resonator. Fundamental pitch is Bflat. Burnt and speckled glaze finish. 9" tall. $300
	Globular Horn #103 (not available) Snall bore with bell and goatskin resonator. Fundamental pitch is D. butterscotch, gray and green glaze finish. 13" tall. $300	Hear it!
	Globular Horn #113 (second) (sold) Large bore with bell and goatskin resonator. Fundamental pitch is C#. Glazed in lavender and robin-egg blue, with iron speckles in a variety of brown colors. This is a second; it has a completely repaired crack that was filled with glaze and internally sealed with expoxy. Plays great, looks great. 18" tall. $200	Hear it!
