DOUBLE TAKE is a jazz combo based in the Westborough, Massachusetts area who play a mix of classic standards and newly-composed jazz tunes. Like the band’s repertoire, the members are also a mix of young and young-at-heart. The band features Bob Nicoll on piano, Barry Hall on bass, Paul Tomashefsky on trumpet, Jim Scarsdale on tenor and soprano sax, Avery Hall on alto sax, Rachel Kaufman on flute and Howard Kaufman on drums. This mix of teachers, students, seasoned professionals and emerging stars fuse their creative talents and their shared passion for jazz and swing to produce energetic, toe-tapping music for your listening pleasure.
