Listen to an excerpt of "Zakopane"

Barry comments: Zakopane is a beautiful and rustic village in the Carpathian Mountains of Poland, where Beth and I met and fell in love years ago. While there, we had an opportunity to play music with some traditional folk musicians - and were impressed (and confused) by the odd meters of their traditional tunes. Unlike our spontaneous Polish jam session, we've had time to practice this piece, which is in 7/8 and 6/8 meter. Zakopane will always have a special place in our heart.
